BRENT tracks the value of 1 barrel of Brent Crude Oil. Brent serves as the primary international benchmark for oil prices, is priced off North Sea production, and is used to price the majority of the world's internationally traded crude supplies. It is the default global oil benchmark whenever traders want exposure that is less U.S.-centric than WTI.
