TTF (Title Transfer Facility) is the dominant European natural gas pricing benchmark, operated as a virtual trading hub on the Dutch gas grid. TTF contracts, traded on ICE Endex, serve as the reference price for pipeline gas supply agreements, LNG spot cargoes, and utility hedging across the continent. European gas pricing is shaped by LNG import flows, Russian supply dynamics, storage levels, seasonal demand, and renewable generation displacement. Traders use TTF as the core European energy exposure, distinct from the U.S. Henry Hub benchmark, with pricing that can diverge significantly based on regional supply disruptions and weather patterns.
